September 5th, 2013 is Be Late For Something Day.
While it’s not necessarily a good practice to encourage or condone lateness, this is an easy topic to use to create a message or promotion.
But before I offer up any examples, I want to point out that the first Sunday after labor day, which is September 8, 2013 is national Grandparents Day.
Friends, if you have not prepared a promotion or at least SOME kind of message to your audience, it’s a MUST and it’s not too late! Regardless if you’re a doctor a lawyer, a hair salon, massage therapist, acupuncturist, hardware store or restaurant owner, you can come up with a reason to reach out by email with a warm-hearted message and an offer in time for Grandparents Day.
Now, back to Be Late For Something Day…here are a few ideas for promotions or for just reaching out to your list:
- For restaurants: ”Running For Late Lunch Special: $5.00 off your check of $15 or more between 2:00-5:00″
- For almost any other business: ”September 5th is Be Late For Something Day so we’re extending our offer for an extra day….” or It’s late but it’s not too late to take advantage of…
